Support Phase 2 of Surfers Point in Ventura

Phase 1 of the Surfers Point project in Ventura successfully relocated a bike path and parking spots. The project has earned widespread recognition because of its cutting-edge approach to coastal management and benefits of climate change adaptation. The Ventura County Chapter is now focused on phase 2 of the project which will entail relocating the rest of the threatened bike path and parking at the Fairgrounds. The project will not only help restore the beach and protect public access, but will also reduce the Fairgrounds’ vulnerability to future sea level rise.
